On our 2201DS, the bypass valve is located under the bathroom sink, which is where the water heater is located. If you are not sure it is there, just determine where the water heater access panels is on the outside of the trailer. On our trailer, there are two panels that are held in place with two screws each. Remove both panels and you will see the water heater and the water lines to it and the bypass valve. You will also see the two valves that are used for draining the system which operate by pulling them up for the open position, down for the closed position.
Don't forget to check that the main plug is in the water heater. My trailer is kept away from our house, or I would send you a picture. If you have any questions, I'll try to answer them.
