Does anyone actually have experience using space heaters only in 20 degree temps?
My funfinder is small, only 19' with just one slide out. I ran a separate electrical circuit coming in through the bottom for my electric space heaters so I can run them off a the other breaker at the CG pedestal. I prefer to use my space heaters on their "low" ( 600 or so watts ) setting. With two of them running on low, I can heat this trailer down below 15 degrees outside, and keep it toasty in here. This trailer does not have any kind of "arctic package"....it's just single pane windows, etc. These little heaters are a good way to heat, for me.
Normally, I only need one of the heaters running, like right now, it's 31 degrees outside, and just one heater on low is keeping it 74 degrees in here.
I don't normally need to have a window cracked open to allow moisture out, probably because it's just me and a very small dog, so we don't generate much moisture from breathing. The window by the head of the bed had just a bit of moisture at the bottom edge this morning ( 28 degrees for an overnight low ). At night I put the shades down for maybe a little bit of extra insulation, and I put those pillow thingies in the roof vent opening and the bathroom skylight.
