There being at least 5 towns/cities named "Strathmore" in North America, I'd advise the OP that listing that alone as your location tells others absolutely nothing. Now that may be his/her intent, in which case I'd say "well played."
But it does make it difficult to answer the question, because of the climate differences between the northernmost and southernmost "Strathmores."
