Here is what I do when operating the fridge in below freezing temperatures:
The fridge has a 60 watt incandescent bulb on a thermocube TC-3 that cycles on at 1.6 c (35 f) and off at 7c (45 f). Air flow is restricted using the handy man's secret weapon (duct tape). Before day time temperatures are below freezing the drain tube must have the "trap" taken out, or it will freeze.

Um..... this is new to me? How do you "winterize" a refrigerator. They are either turned "on" or turned "off". If the temperature inside the refrigerator gets warm, they run till it gets cold again. If they are turned off, they'll never run. What is there to "winterize" other than removing food?
Those high dollar fridge with ice and or in-door water, I suppose they could be damaged if not winterized?
