Winter camping
Dumb question. We plan on camping on Thanksgiving weekend. What keeps the city water hose from freezing up at the camp site?

For the occasional trip, just filling the FW tank and putting the hose away is the easiest solution. Even if you have a heated hose, if the campground hasn't set up heating of some sort around the faucet, the faucet will freeze. Many campgrounds that are open in winter will tell you to fill your FW tanks and then disconnect the hose so the faucets don't freeze.
