Winter Storing popup

We live in a cold winter climate in Ontario Canada. We can not store the popup inside. What is the best way to protect it from the cold and snow. Is covering it with a tarp a good idea or will moisture be a problem. Open to ideas. We do have a grey cloth cover for it but am not sure it would be any good for the winter.
  • I use a camper cover and I pull the snow off with a roof rake whenever I plow the driveway. Never had a temperature related issue. I try not to let the snow get too high around camper but it has been almost buried several times.
  • Your results may vary but my girlfriend would shrink wrap her popup camper during the winter and it worked great.
  • We did our Pop-Up this way for 6 winters. Tuck that tarp very tight and leave it open on the underside. Never had a problem. If you cover ... whatever material you use, just make sure it's tied down very tight so wind will not cause it to rub the finish.

  • I would put it on a couple jack stands and cover it with a tarp. Use a lot of shock cords to keep it secured. Maybe do something to keep the critters away also.
