Covering just the roof with a tarp is a good idea, but if the metal grommets
rub on the siding they leave marks. If you cover the whole thing with a polytarp
you may have moisture problems on the inside such as your metal handles and knobs
on drawers pitting.
I prefer the whole RV cover, they breath and work well for me. I know many
others on here don't like them.
