Are you sure they pumped any antifreeze at all? Did they specifically tell you that was what they were going to do? They might have just gone with the compressed air method. Also, I believe your outside shower unscrews from the faucet the same way it would with your indoor shower. If you're concerned about it freezing, just take it off. Even if it does freeze, those cheap plastic shower heads are about $17 on Amazon.
