Used to do this with my boats. I had two clamp on fixtures and used heat lamp bulbs; opened cabinets and other closed spaces, like the bilge. Never had a freeze problem in twenty years of boating, even the time when the Columbia River froze hard enough for DW to walk all the way around the boat at the moorage! :E
