I have a wired system that I got for $100. it works great and gives a good picture. I would never spend $1000 for a camera system. and the wireless ones have occasional signal issues which are enough that I would want a wired system. I just installed a backup camera in my truck and between the new stereo with monitor built in ($280) and the camera off Amazon for ($20) I have $300 in a wired system. and if I want I could order another camera and use the monitor in the radio to watch the back of the trailer. but I like my stand alone camera for the trailer. it is nice to use the camera as a rear view mirror for behind the trailer!
