Wired or Wireless?

I don't need one for backing the trailer but, it would be nice to have one on the end gate of the pickup for hitching to the ball. And, I have a extended cab, short box, pickup with a tool box in the bed. I'm always afraid when backing up the truck out of somebody's yard that I'm going to run over some kid or hit something . You can't see anything that is directly behind the truck. The I ball one would not work from me because it would get stolen. I have looked at ones that permanently attach around your license plate but, like the OP I can't decide between wired and wireless.
