I have a wife to deploy the stabilizers, but she cost a LOT more than $299.00. :)
Seriously though, I wouldn't use an impact as they would easily apply more pressure than you need.
A simple cordless drill with 2 speeds should do fine. High for quick down/up and low speed to snug them up. Be careful though, with a decent drill on low, you still have enough power to break something if you are trigger happy.
