Does anyone have these? I have been thinking about getting some for a while. One day one of my neighbors pulled up and he had one of this whole tires gone from the rim after a trip! Guessing he didn't even realize while towing. Meanwhile, I am sure that tire did some damage before coming off the rim completely. Does anyone have any suggestions? It seems most just screw into the valve and sends a signal to a cigarette lighter sensor. I have to question if those will reach the 40-50' from axle to truck. I also only have one cigarette lighter in the front of my $60K dollar ram (really?). I don't want to lose one and there's not a whole lot of room for a double.Any thoughts/suggestions?

The cigarette lighter socket is only used for charging the main display unit on occasion. Order an extra valve sensor for your spare tire.

Looks like a nice system without eating up my 12v port. Do you guys have the flow-through or the caps?

I will have an opinion on this in a couple of days.....as I bought a system from CW that is now on sale.Got two extra senders so I can monitor my 6 RV tires and 2 on the trailer too.It has a "repeater" that I will plug into a 12 V outlet in the bedroom intended for a TV; need to get a power plug for that.

TST 507RV for me. I did have a couple of connection problems initially until I installed their repeater. Apparently, the length of out TT put us right at the edge of the effective range of the unit. Now it works perfectly and their customer service is second to none.

I placed my order for the TST system last night after reading reviews. Seems everyone is happy for the most part.

I ended up getting the repeated too because I didn't want to wonder if it would cut out or not. I have a mega cab and a cap so I am probably pushing the distance with the bumper pull.

System with 4 sensors, 2 extra sensors, repeater, 2nd day shipping was $320. About $100 more than I Wanted to spend, but I should have a system that works well and not worry about losing signal and not knowing it. Hopefully quick setup as it should arrive Friday and we are leaving Friday for a 4 hour drive.

Installed my TM66 from CW today.
Basic 6 wheel system on sale for $275.
Two extra transmitters for trailer, $74.

Seems to work well but I think this recent trend toward having only 3 buttons to provide a dozen or more functions is a GIANT step backwards. I have the same problem with my new in-dash stereo system. Maybe I'm just getting old ??

If you have rubber (slightly floppy) valve stems, might want to have those replaced with all-metal type, because the caps do add a few grams of mass to the tip-end of the stem. (Discount Tire replaced mine quite cheaply, though I did bring them "loose" wheels a couple at a time - wasn't interested in trusting them to jack correctly, nor navigate their small parking area)

All you folks that have the TST 507 system....is my system operating like yours?

At startup, it takes upwards of 45 minutes for the system to "find" all the tires (8 sensors) and start reporting. It will "find" two or three immediately, and then upwards of 45 minutes to find the rest.

One of my sensors eats batteries. Put in a new one and two days later it's not reporting again.

Something is wrong. I have 4 sensors that report in about 5 minutes after starting. I do have a repeater in the front bay. 2 years and batteries are still good.

Definitely something wrong there. I would contact TST.

Yes, I highly recommend metal valve stems as well. Especially with the flow through sensors. Very likely to have a valve stem failure due to the weight of the sensor. I used metal stems with a 45° bend to them - keeps the sensors tucked in nice and tight. In the past, I used a piece of vacuum line over the valve stem to keep the stem from flexing. Made it nice and tight in the hole in the aluminum rim (a standard metal valve stem wouldn't work). Found a better type of stem later on that fit inside my aluminum rim.
