I ordered a new plug to install in the bed of my truck so we should be good there.
My next questions is about the connectors. Unlike my Lance which had a cord hard wired to the truck, the 8.6 has a female receptacle for plugging into the truck. So I need a cord with male 7 pin plugs on both ends. The previous owner provided an extension with a male end and a female end. Is it an easy fix to rewire the female end to a male end or is there 3-5 ft 7 pin extension that I should be purchasing? I looked and so far I only find extensions like the one I have or with wires exposed on one end (which is why I think I can replace the female end w/ a plug). Thanks.
