I travel with my DH much of the time but I also enjoy heading out in the TC on my own. I've used it for work trips, for visiting family, and for short vacations. I do it all, from loading the camper onto the truck before the trip to dumping the tanks after I get back. (Nothing wrong with having some help with those tasks if needed though as it's the time in between that counts.) Being in the populous southeast most of my stays are in campgrounds or driveways with an occasional parking lot stay now and then. Wouldn't mind boondocking if I ever found myself camping solo west of the Mississippi but for those longer trips the DH has always been along. Getting ready for a trip is always such a hassle but as soon as I climb in behind the wheel of my TC and head out down the road ... ah! freedom! The rig is so maneuverable and wherever I take it I have all the comforts of home in a small, easy-to-clean package.
Edit: BTW, welcome to the TC forum, Frenchie, and please do post some photos of your travels. I love having trip reports to drool over while lunching at my desk.
