The only issue I ever had with towing a TT was cross winds and passing trucks. The trailer would get squirrely. I didn't like that part at all. My sister's father-in-law towed a 26 foot trailer to her wedding. They towed it from the West coast to East Tennessee. From there they went to Florida and took a Southern route through Texas back to Oregon. He told me that the trick was overkill on the tow vehicle. He has a Dodge 2500 Diesel crew cab truck. The best thing I ever towed with was an F-150. My wife wanted an SUV and our experience wasn't as good with that. We had a Jeep Grand Wagoneer and a Toyota Land Cruiser. They weren't ideal for pulling a trailer.
