Hi everyone. I live in Japan, so currently I do all my dreaming via information I find online. I'll be in Washington DC in September and am thinking of taking a few days to drive to Hershey PA to visit the World's Largest RV Show. Does anyone have any experience with that show? They don't have many vendors listed yet, but it's still early days. I did write the Airstream people to ask what shows they participate in, but no one answered. :(I'm only interested in smaller travel trailers (Livin'Lite, Airstream, Lance, etc) and I'm worried the Hershey show may be Motor Home centric. Anyone a fan of the show?Thanks.

TS definately worth it, most of the players are there, and many small companies as well, inside is all kinds of RV accessories.....worth the trip IMO....

I get there as often as I can (it's close) and I'm not even in the market for a new TT. Lots to look at - I doubt you'll be disappointed. It's neat to look at what's new in the industry and I get a chuckle out of the sales people..........

You'll definitely find a fair representation of smaller units. I've always seen Airstreams there. I thought the St Louis show was bigger, but that was years ago.

Unless any of the salesmen wants to ship to Japan, I should have a pretty good excuse not to buy during the show. . .

If you are already going to be in D.C., it is less than 2 hours to Hershey (NOT during rush hour) and well worth the trip. There are RV's there of all kinds, shapes and sizes and more accessories than you can imagine. It is HUGE and as someone said, can't be see in 2 days. Just leave your checkbook in the car! Seriously, the prices are no less there than you can normally get so don't fall for the "this price is only good during the show".

Just remember, when you talk to a salesman, "His is the best in the world and he will promise you all of it if you just buy right now!" It is fascinating and just ask if you can jump up and down on the kitchen floor. Most will get real pale. Actually it's Americas largest RV show.
