Would you purchase an exstended warrranty for a new truck?

I ended up buying, via the internet, a Ford ESP plan. Got it from a Ford dealer in Michigan. Tried to get my local dealer when I originally bought the truck to even come close to the internet price. He refused. His loss, the dealer in Michigan's gain.

I did it because of the twin turbo's on my Ecoboost plus all the computers used to run the truck now. About a year ago, a hand of full miles after the magic 36k mile marker, the throttle body failed. After the fix using the ESP, the ESP got 1/2 cheaper.
