I think you missed the point. I don't care, but how many just parrot the statement about 3/4 ton and 1 ton use the same parts without actually doing the research. It's easy to assume that if you read something often enough and in enough places it becomes fact. I've seen it happen on motorcycle forums, and sometimes the statements aren't true, but are repeated often enough to take on a life of their own.

BTW, if the 2012 3500 CTD Crew Cab Laramie 4x4 in the OP's picture hooked up to a 13k 5th wheel and my 2014 2500 CTD Crew Cab Laramie 4x4 hooked up to the same 13k trailer. Would you not even question the trailer being hooked up to the 2012 3500, but yet second guess it being hooked up to my 2014 2500? If so, why?
