That's how I would have handled it. I recently came across a similar situation and politely asked how it handled.. POLITELY suggesting the truck didn't seem like enough.
That said, people SHOULD have an idea of what their setup weighs. Escapees club thinks this is important, so that's good enough for me. I imagine we'll be seeing a lot of this as the baby-boomers buy their new rigs without much thought of the specifics.
