Would you tell us your payment with that new truck ??

Just curious what these new truck payments are ??? I keep hearing many chime in about their new 12 or 13 truck and I cant even imagine what kind of payment comes with that truck. I want a new truck so bad but after not having a truck payment for a while I think it will be a hard pill to swallow. I guess what I am saying is that I will feel less jealous if I here the payments on these beauties !!!!
  • 2012 silverado ext cab, 4x4, 2500hd, 6.0 gas, work truck trim

465 a month, 0% 72 months, 0 down except 1500 gm credit card redemption and all applicable rebates.

I only drive the truck to tow and haul stuff and make one trip with it a weekend so it gets driven. Maybe 7k miles a year on it. I intend to keep it about 12 years.

I can't justify spending an extra 10k for creature comforts on a truck I spend so little time in. However I do regret the ext cab vs a crew cab. I would have ponied up the extra 2k or so for the crew cab.

If you have no trade in and want a top of the line diesel dually be prepared for approx 1000 a month.
  • I ran these figures on Boeing CU site. 55K New Vehicle, 20K trade in, 2K down payment, it supplied 5%, and I choose 60 months. Payment was $623. Or about 4 or 5 times my first house payment years ago!

So loan amount is 33k, and you pay back $37380, $4380 in interest.

Knock your trade in down to 10K plus the 2k down and payment is $811.

And that folks is why I am still driving my 2001.5 Dodge!

usually a federal credit union will give you the best loan... Don't rule them out when you are looking for one...
  • On a 60 month 0% APR loan, the payment will be +\- $17.00 per every $1000 financed, so a $40K loan would be somewhere around $680 a month.

This will obviously change once you factor in the APR and length of the loan.
