I suggest you look very carefully into the limitations of that setup, as the lowest capacity component dictates what you can do. You can buy expensive equipment all day long, but if the thing you hook it up to isn't rated to do the job, you're wasting your money.

I know many people with MDX's using WD hitches already. But I have no idea if the receiver is designed to take it. All I know is my manual says it's not recommended due to improperly adjusted WD hitches affecting handling and braking. That's all it says on the matter.
