I would not do it. You keep saying there will be a more capable tv in the future. I suggest getting that more capable tv now. If not find a friend with one or rent one or get the tt delivered. Regarding the propane, dealerships usually fill the tanks for you so they are usually full when you buy it.

You have heard yes and no, ultimately the decision is yours and so is the liability of getting into an accident with an improper tow vehicle. You might be just fine and you might not. The question is what kind of risk are you willing to assume. Also not mentioned is the terrain. Is it mostly flat or mountains? Mountains, I would say definitively no as overload in the mountains is even worse. Been there, done that, never again.
