Would you tow this trailer home?

Oh it's not the long term plan. It's for this summer only to borrow. Next summer we'll be upgrading the MDX, looking at the Touareg right now which tows 7700#. We just can't get both this year. And if we don't get a TT this summer, the kids don't get to camp this summer (new job, not allowed to take vacation for 6 months, so only have Saturday morning to drive up and Sunday to come home which is a lot of setup work with PUP and extra tent needed and add-a-room needed, as by the time we set up, we have to go home. TT makes it possible for us to pop in, back in, level, and have a bit of fun on a few weekends at least).

Anyway, we did look at smaller and lighter trailers. They are either the same size as our PUP except taller, and involve turning a dinette into a bed nightly, or they don't have space to sleep 5, or they are hybrids which for various reasons I just don't want. The new job changed our plans which were originally to get the TT next summer and the new vehicle. Now we are seeing if we can make the TT work this summer, and new vehicle next. If you saw the look in my 7 year old's eyes when I told her I had no summer vacation and she asked, "well how will we go camping?" and I said, "we won't"....well let's just say it wasn't the look of a regular pout that kid gives you if they are pissed off. I'd never seen her eyes like this. So ya, just trying to make what we can work. :)
