Wow, 6 months wait for a Chevy-Tahoe
A little bird told me this. Is this because of chip shortage or signs of booming economy reported in business news today?

The explanation for the delay in getting a Tahoe.
A - Dealers are allocated production based on previous sales/volume. (might be at too small of a dealer)
B - GM builds all full-size SUVs at Arlington - Yukon, Yukon XL, Escalade, Escalade ESV, Suburban, and the Tahoe
C - GM builds 1200 a day according to website
D - Texas was hit by weather in February
E - GM sold over 60,000 full size SUVs in Q1
So if you look at 5 facts, they sold approximately everything they could build. There is no extra inventory since these vehicles were new last year.
