I have noticed enough to be glad I bought them. If it is more than one person especially if you have kids it is worth it IMHO. I had to get the extended so they were a little more pricey. On a side note one of the bolts came loose and I lost it. I emailed them and Norco (X Chock maker) immediately sent out me replacements.
