I am kind of OCD about doing a walk around. I guess that was just drilled into my head by my Scoutmaster back in my Boy Scout days. I double, even triple check, the doors, all chains and straps, hitch, tires, jacks, awning, ect. I also always make sure we didn't leave any trash, even pick up stuff from the last people. I make sure I can put my hand into and keep in the fire pit; don't want any leftover coals. We even look around at the adjacent spots. It's a lot cheaper, and less embarrassing, to double check than to do something stupid.
