Northern NM and Southern CO. Handled it well. Not arguing a 3/4 or one ton wouldn't be better but I have over 4500k miles towing the 35' travel trailer and at least another 5-600 miles towing my old 27'. No issues. I'd take the naysayers with a grain of salt.
