My job is to fix parking garages. My F-250 fits in all but one garage out of 12 in the small metro area I work in.
My F250 also doesn't fit in my garage (your's may fit in your garage - mine doesn't fit in my garage). It is probably a mere inch, but never the less, it doesn't fit. But besides that, with the way the mirrors on my F250 stick out and the location of the fence, etc., it way too big a hassle to even try and get it in the back yard. My son's truck - no problem.
But the whole point of my post wasn't to quibble about whether an F250 will fit into parking decks or garages. My situation is different then yours. For me, if an F150 will do it, then I have lot's of reason why that's the better solution. One size doesn't fit all. So I reiterate, "Daily Driver" is a big deal to me. Your situation may vary.
And sorry IdaD, I won't even consider a diesel (your situation may vary).
