My point exactly. From the owners stand point you know when you exceed the limit, yet the vehicle shows no ill effects.
Most of us are willing push the limit from time to time rather than opt for a larger vehicle.
Agreed..My point is that Dodge W-2500/with camper loaded is more overloaded than I could possibly be buying Jayco Eagle biggest travel trailer and hooking it to my F-150.
Even a Dodge Dually with Arctic Fox's small camper is overloaded by a few hundred pounds.3/4 tons pulling fifth wheels start like Keystone Montana's smallest fiver with 2600lbs dry on the hitch leaving a diesel 3/4 ton about 400 lbs payload,but it's okay because it's a 3/4 ton.
Yet a modern 1/2 ton can't haul more than a 5-6000 lb trailer if you listen to some.I'm just not getting it!
