YOU NEED TO SEE THIS PIC

I ATTENDED THE OHIO RV SHOW IN CLEVELAND LAST WEEK. ONE RV DEALERSHIP IN PARTICULAR HAD PICTURES OF WHAT TYPE OF VEHICLE COULD PULL EACH RV THAT WAS ON DISPLAY. THE PICTURES OF THE TOW VEHICLES WERE PLACED NEXT TO THE ENTRY DOORS. I CAME ACROSS A COUPLE OF 7500 OR 8000 LBS UNITS THAT HAD PICTURES OF 1/2 TON TRUCKS AND I JUST LAUGHED. WHEN I CAME ACROSS THIS UNIT I HAD TO SHARE IT. THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF OVERSALES. THE SALESPERSONS WILL SELL YOU ANYTHING EVEN IF IT IS A DEATHTRAP FOR YOUR FAMILY. COMENTS PLEASE!
  • Well tow numbers on the new chevy/gmc are accually high I have a 2014 serria 1500 which is rated to tow 9600lbs with my engine/rear end and can go up to 11,000lbs with the lower gear ratios giving the fact that tounge weights are low enough the right 1500 "could" tow it legally. Although it would have to be empty or close to it haha
  • I see this scenario every day at Campgrounds across the country, 1/2 Ton Trucks pulling large 35Ft plus trailers and 5th Wheels, 3/4 Ton Trucks pulling large triple axle 40FT plus Toy Haulers, even recently saw a Honda Odyssey pulling a 30Ft Airstream TT.
