Don't let the MSRP scare you. RAM's routinely sell for 10-11K under that amount. Like I say, they ask more for a 1 or 2 old RAM than the cost of a new one.

Thanks for all your feedback. I have bought several new vehicles over the years. When I bought a new 1999 Pontiac Montana van for the wife, it had a 5 year payment plan. Once we paid it off I told the wife we are going to keep making a vehicle payment every paycheck but instead of going to the car company it goes into a savings account. We continue to make that same payment into the savings account today and have bought the wife another vehicle in 2008 (ford escape hybrid) paying cash. I know going into the dealer with cash money helps the bargaining aspect somewhat.
