....and if you need a daily driver? pay for a semi and then have to buy a daily driver? That would add up in cost, insurance, fuel, etc....My 1 ton crew cab dually could handle a trailer up to 25,000# and I'd still be under GCWR and RAWR and I drive it to and from work...385HP and 850TQ ain't all that shabby for a 9100# pick up truck....All I need is my regular drivers license.
under powered medium duty truck....heck, can handle all most need to tow a 5er with.
I would say OP could find a 2013 Ram with Aisin tranny, all new like mine was and get a heck of a deal on one...or if he wants to go new...still get one at not a bad price.
