Or go find a nice Volvo 610 or 670. Lots available with manual tranny's. RVers license them as RV's.

A used HDT truck is usually a bunch cheaper than a new pickup and you will never have to worry about your tow capacities again! Or having enough power! Or breaking! And how about heavy duty smooth riding Air Suspension?
My plans include a lot of boondocking off the main roads. I would feel naked without a 4x4 vehicle. On those narrow roads sometimes I need a tight turning radius and a lot of campgrounds I frequent for horse camping would have the exhaust stacks torn off getting settled in. HDT's are nice rides but a little more than I would need.
