Yukon XL 2500 8.1

Not sure if this is the right place to post.

Came across this in my local craigslist. I know how hard these are to find. A 2004 with less than 50k on the clock.
If I didn't already own one I sure would jump at it.
  • Nice ride but overpriced. These are 10 years old now. I agree with an offer around 12k. Yes, '05 and newer barn doors were no longer available. While it might not seem like it to us on this forum, the market for towing the kind of weight the 8.1 excels at is actually pretty small. For anyone else, these are ridiculous gas hogs and can make them a tough sell with the current price of gas. If I could trade up for a few grand over my '01, I would take it in a heartbeat.

Just a tidbit of information, it was possibly the 2004 MY, and definetly the 2005 MY they did away with the barn doors. Our 04 3/4 ton had the liftgate too. I prefer the lift gate, but have gotten used to the barn doors on our van.
  • I got a 2005 Yukon XL with 73K, 4x4, 6.1 engine. I wouldn't part with it for less than $22.5. I has been a dream, new Mich tires at 50K. Pretty much loaded with cloth.

But looks clean. Even with those low miles I would offer the guy $12K.
