Zamp solar plug

I sold my travel trailer and bougfht a smaller (and newer) Wolf Pup. It has a zamp solar plug on the side. How many amps can that plug handle? I have 2 250 watt Renogy panels I'd like to make use of. Each panel produces about 8.32 Amps.

Thanks.
  • Do you know the size of the wires attached to the plug? There should be bitter ends of those wires near the battery.
  • I do not. Haven't actually gotten it home yet. Waiting on the owner to get the title from the bank. It's a 2015 Wolf Pup 16FQ, if it helps. Small trailer.
  • pretty sure it's only 12 gauge and not waterproof... it's just a standard SAE connector in reverse. I think I'd plan to run your own wire.
  • It's a marketing gimmick, not worth the hole they put in to add it.
