0-60 @ WOT is usually quite meaningless. So few people, even RVers, ever see the north side of half the engine's redline. And that is why I feel the SAE towing spec is also meaningless.

And this is why people feel their TV is underpowered. Few "dare" go WOT to climb a mountain or accelerate from a stop.
If you want to use all available rated HP and Torque...you must have WOT!!! There is nothing more to this.
And to the OP, I can tell you're not making up you number, because I tow 4300lbs with my 2012 Pilot 4wd and got a tick over 20 seconds last year when I timed this exact thing.
Why did I time it? Well, I was curious as to why everyone felt the Pilot was underpowered. Cause its not. Not only does it have plenty of power, but it can also stop my trailer faster than those towing more, with bigger TV's. Try me!
What sets me off about the SAE standard is that it excludes the largest non-commercial pick up trucks. IMO, all non-commercial TV's should be in the standard, for OEM's who opt to use it. Other than that, the standard is a great bench mark to be sure your TV is up to the task given the rating.
