I saw these threads in some of the other Open Roads RV Forums, but didn't see one for TCs.I'll start...I installed Interior LED puck lights and a 12v power outlet.

Just looked at it sitting all lonely by itself. : (Yesterday I repaired the MaxAir vent cover broken hinge.

Installed (this week)SeeLevel gauges so i could finally get accurate readings from my tanks. The standard stock gauge they put in are totally worthless.

I reinstalled the repaired Happijac motor on one jack and plugged the shore power in to top up the batteries.

washed it after our trip this week

I cleared snow off the roof . I have not raked one leaf yet but im cleaning snow off my tc . :hIt's my puppies (10 mo.old American Foxhound) first snowfall and she had no idea what was going on, so she jumped up/down like a yo-yo , it was cold on her feet.

So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

washed all the dead bugs off on friday.now there's a level 4 water restriction in effect.no washing of vehicles.i just got home from a 600km. fishing trip.it looks worse than friday.not just bugs,now mud as well.:M

like many I was tired of not being able to see through the frosted door glass. when digging through some stuff a few weeks back I found the door to the old TC we had stripped and found the glass was tinted, not frosted. I remove the tinted glass from the old door and replace the frosted glass in the new camper.

The 1181 has 2 draws beside the fridge under a closet/storage area. during the last trip the bottom dropped in the back. I removed the draw and found this

started by tapping the supports back into place and adding screws

then added some 2x2 supports to hopefully keep all the bouncing from pulling the draw framing apart

If this doesn't hold then it'll be rebuilding

I'm getting ready to take it off the truck, which isn't my normal practice mid summer. It always stays on all year, but when it (the truck) was at the dealer getting wire harnesses replaced, the idiot technician that worked on the truck didn't line up the lift correctly and smashed the rocker panel on the passenger side. I'm removing the camper so they can fix the truck.

BEWARE OF AUTO NATION CHEVROLET SPOKANE! I can guarantee I will never go back there.

added a second battery for our 6 day fishing trip.happy to add we still had 50% left when we got home.now i need to find out why the truck isn't charging them.
