- trailgranny50ExplorerTested out new theory on why BC20 back up camera keeps coming on randomly, all better. Just required purchase of on board battery, yes we are entering the 20th century at last, to wire power supply to directly. Have new convertor/charger bought last year but didn't install but am now to take care of battery. Replaced back door lower window and new trim as that last off the beaten track road finished it and replaced a broken screen door latch. Just have to finish installs next week and wash the mud of event then wax the rig. Truck due for service soon too along with FJ. Never ends but at least I don't have time to get bored.
- tony_leeExplorerUsed it.
- iwon415ExplorerRan the generator for an hour to charge the batteries in storage. Hung up some Febreze vent deodorizers to try and remove the glue smell from a repair done in January!
- Nothing yet, but it's still early in the day!
- jmckelvyExplorerNot today but recently changed the 22 inch TV for a Samsung 22 inch.
Its USB port allows streaming media directly from a USB stick or hard drive. It came with an external power module supplying 14 volts to the TV. I made up a cord to plug into the 12 volt outlet. Works great now no longer requires using an inverter to supply 120 VAC. - trailgranny50ExplorerGot rig back from radiator shop, paid that huge bill, next is AC service. I'm afraid of what that will cost since it's NEVER been serviced in 12 years we've owned it. That's what happens when it's always been DH daily driver work truck, never out of service during the week. Now I have taken over maintenence things will get attention before they become a much more expensive fix by letting them go. At least that the plan.

Do you leave those fill caps attached al the time?
Yes, they stay on and there's a quick connect for the bulb. All you do is attach the bulb, stick the other end in distilled water, and pump until the bulb gets hard. There are check valves in each cap to prevent overfilling. My batteries are hidden and very difficult to get to. Now it's so easy!
I have 2 6volt batteries but there is the 12 volt version as well. There's even a way to string even more batteries together with this filler. The materials are of high quality and will surely outlast the battery life and the camper itself most likely.
Thank you!!! Amazon has them and I have a coupon!!! :B trailgranny50 wrote:
Took rig to radiator shop to clean radiator.... Don't know how that poor truck got ANY air thru the previous mess of bugs and dirt..
Folks on the Duramax forums are always talking about "cleaning the cooling stack".
They are a challenge to clean, that's for sure.- Charged the batteries. I forgot to plug it in when I took it off the truck 2 weeks ago.
