So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

Outside speakers, mmmmff. I don't even have a AM radio. Resealed the escape hatch and installed a Fantastic fan.

Ordered banana jacks to mount outside for outdoor speakers.

Checked it for moisture after the weekend rains, found a tiny bit, but given where it was at, it might have been some that blew in through the roof vent for the fridge, given how rain that fell and there was barely enough to dampen a finger tip after 48 hours of near constant rain, I'd say its holding up good so far and that's just with the butyl tape in the seam strips, will be even better once it dried out and I can caulk it.

Over the weekend, took it on its maiden voyage. Stopped briefly at Gonzaga University so my 7-yr-old daughter could attend her Chinese class:



Then on to the St Joe River:




The truck handled it well with the airbags and the BFG AT/KO2 285/65R20s, but that won't be the normal camper setup.

Thanks to all those that boldly tackled wing rot I was confident and successful in repairing both side over the course of two weekends. It appears that Lance patches small pieces of wood together until they run out of staples.

Finished getting the 2x6s in in the corners where the new jack mounts are going on the Amerigo. About ready to seal the passenger side wall back up before the rains come this weekend. :)

Here's a photo of my bike rack with platform. You can see the wood on it held down by motorcycle webbing going both directions. Not a lot of wood but enough for a small fire.

The aluminum platform is about 3/16 thick is 12 x 18 with two 2 1/2 x 3/8 bolts holding it on. I painted it black and put edging on it. I drilled 4 x 1/2 inch holes 3/4 in in at the corners.

The new light fixture looks like a good choice considering you don't have conventional bulbs.

I had the Florescent fixture above the dinette fail so I ordered a Thin-lite dist- led412P LED fixture from Amazon. the install took about 10 minutes it has three setting off low and high. the light is great. and it can handle voltages from 8-30V dc
