- Bob__BExplorerDoes the green show up better outside than the red?
- northshoreExplorerI use the laser idea when loading my camper, picked up the laser at harbor freight, I think it was about $4.00 works great, has a strong magnet on the mounting surface, just put it on the front rail of the bed, marked it so I use the same spot every time.

That's a cool idea. Where'd you get the laser?
Get the heat sink and battery pack too.

How did you mount it? Got photos? Do you have an ON/OFF switch or just use the alligator clips.
I use a similar method but not as hi tech as your approach. I have small pieces of black electrical tape on the camper in the same locations you describe, one centered in the bottom of the rear truck window, and an orange strip down the center of the bed mat. Works OK. - joe123Explorerwash the roof of the camper and clean the solar panel, getting ready to load the camper for the first trip of the year.

Used 2" reflector tape and a sharpie to put centering marks on my TC to allow the 80-120 degree green laser line I just installed in the center of the back window of the truck to show up better on bright days. The laser line hits three points (just under the bottom curve of the cabover, above the TC pass-thru window, and bottom forward edge) on the TC creating a simulated plane to make it possible to do one-shot loading. Got this idea from some dude's how-to Youtube video. - sasquatchgeoffExplorer IIUsed 2" reflector tape and a sharpie to put centering marks on my TC to allow the 80-120 degree green laser line I just installed in the center of the back window of the truck to show up better on bright days. - DWeikertExplorer IIRemoved my 2 Kyocera solar panels in preparation of having a Polar Cub Mach 8 installed. The Adventurer is a 7' wide camper and with the 2 Kyocera panels on either side there was no room for a conventional roof mount AC. Fortunately, before I cut a hole in the wall and attempted to mount a window mount unit in a cabinet someone here posted a link to the Renogy 100W panels which are 5" narrower giving me plenty of room for both solar and AC. In fact the Renogy panels are just the right size to fit on either side of my Heki hatch on the cabover, so I'll have 400W with 4 panels when finished.
