Whether this is your first time here or if youโ€™ve already jumped into the conversations, kick today off with a quick, friendly hello. Itโ€™s always great to run into familiar faces further down the road.

So whatโ€™s the inside scoop? Your RV of choice. Where you like to travel. Where you call home. Need an icebreaker? Tell us where you would go if you could RV anywhere in the world. And finally, be sure to welcome others as they join!

Safe travels. Just remember that you're driving a rolling earthquake so after experiencing what I-40 has to offer, be sure to go over the coach with a fine tooth comb to make everything is where it belongs and works ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜€

Good afternoon, my husband Is Jimmy 59 He is disabled and a veteran, and I am Loretta 60 a retired medical assistant we both retired in 2018 and we have been RVing since then. And we travel with our rescue German Shepherd that is going to be 10.  we used to call Englewood Florida home but we had sold our house in April 2023 and now we call Bitley Michigan home. We are on the road from August to September through April to May then we are in Michigan during the summer.  I drive a 36 foot 2006 Winnebago journey and I love it. I joined this group to see where are the best places to go that everyone has experienced

Hello Loretta and Jimmy,

Jimmy, thank you for your service. I also served, in the Air Force, Crash Rescue Fire Fighter. And Loretta I retired as a Registered MRI Tech, so thanks for your service too.

If you haven't been there yet I would definitely recommend The Black Hills in South Dakota. Amazing!! I did a trip out there last year and it was great. I also went into Wyoming and stayed at Devils Tower, with a visit to Sturgis SD along the way.  Also went to the Bad Lands in SD. I highly recommend!

Safe Travels. See you around the campfire.

Welcome to the community! Sounds like you are having a great time with your new setup! My friend recently acquired this nice Winnebago. Just got the brake job done, new tires from 4Wheelonline, light upgrades, and more. Enjoy the forums

From one veteran to another, please tell your husband thank you for his service.

Hi all! My 2 cats, Meraki and Cooper, and I have been on the road full time since last March- just living our best nomadic life. If you see them tethered outside or on a walk around the camp, come say hi! They love making new friends.

Hi, we are the Rhodes family out of Denver Colorado area. I am on old Eagle Scout and have been camping all my life. We have gone from 60# Backpacks 16 miles into the mountains, to tent camping out of the back of the car, to renting a Pop-up Camper, to buying a 30' Jayco tow-able camper, 2 years old. We tow it with a Ford F-150 Super Crew Cab truck. We are beyond retirement age but still working in in our own business. Last year we took off for four, 1-week long trips in New Mexico and Colorado. We travel with my Wife's Comfort Dog Reilly. Our biggest challenge is getting a campsite reserved 6 months out. We have to have Electrical hook-up because of my Wife C-Pap machine at night (can't run a generator at night). Any suggestions?

Hi, I am Karen and have spent many years, starting in childhood enjoying the great outdoors and camping. Started out in the open, graduated to a tent when I was married the into a Class A motorhome 40 years ago when I met my best friend. Our last motorhome was a Newmar Mountainaire. My partner, Lynn, was the driver and I was the navigator and we explored most of the west coast all the way from Mexico to Canada and into Arizona. She is no longer able to drive  but I hope to go back on the road as a nomad someday. I'm 79, she's 84 and terminally ill. I'm her caretaker and as difficult as that can be sometimes I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm thinking of selling the house and getting a small RV or a van conversion. I'd love to hear your thoughts as to what will best suit my needs as a solo driver with my little dog and two cats.

Hello from Richard and Penelope Yood of Tallahassee FL. We've been RVing since May 2005 and on our 4th and last coach a 2017 Forest River FR3 30DH..

During our almost 19 years of RVing we have been to or through 44 states in the continental U.S.

We're both in our late 70s so have slowed down on distance traveled, especially since Covid and higher gas prices,  but we still try to use the coach once a month either visiting kids or with my wife's BFF & her husband. Anywhere for a week to long weekends.
