Oy! Today, I took Lily to the vet for a dental exam and cleaning, as well as a follow-up blood test for her kidney issues. I just got the call that she has a massive infection in her mouth, and 7 teeth needed to be extracted, including 1 canine. She has awakened and is recovering now at the vet. Needless to say, she will be on soft food for a while.
