I have been away from the board for several days but here's my two cents...I would rethink having his teeth cleaned...putting him under can be very risky and I don't do it unless absolutely necessary. Fella's heart worms weakened his heart I'm sure and anesthesia can be tough on the heart. That's just my humble opinion. I would try the brushing route first before anything else.
