My husband gave his dog a cooked bone and it shattered her tooth, she had to have a root canal. I heard that cooked bones get too hard and are not good for dogs teeth (they wouldn't have cooked bones in nature), so they only should have uncooked bones, if any.
I guess it's pretty certain that Charlie did eat that bone or he wouldn't be not wanting his food. Maybe he should go in for an xray. It's probably been too long now for him to vomit it up. Poor boy.
