Good morning everyone. Today I hope for things to be better. Yesterday Sue and I went to Greenville for a much needed break and watched our grandson Austin play football, his team won 38 to 0. His team is yet to be scored on this season and after three games I am convinced they are most likely the best team in their conference. They have the power sweep around the ends down to perfection and just when you think they are going to run the ball again, yep touchdown pass right over the secondary. Defense, last night they held their opponent to only three first downs the whole game. Austin plays strong safety and he is all over the secondary and he isnโt afraid of getting hurt, right now he thinks he is ten feet tall and bullet proof.
At the last minute as we were leaving yesterday we decided to not take Mama with us so she stayed home with the rest of the gang. Our daughter Robin came and stayed with them until we got back. They sure were glad to see us when we walked in the door, I was glad to see them also. Today we will keep a watchful eye on the back yard and the fur babies as best we can to make sure they are safe. I donโt like living this way, but I guess we have to see this thing through to the end.
On the bright side, Sue and I have settled on the house plan and yesterday while we were in Greenville we set the site for the house on the property. It is going to be a beautiful place out in the country with peace and quiet and lots of room for the fur gang. On our visits there we will be able to visit the mountains and some of the beautiful State Parks in the area and if we decide to make that our home, we will be close to the grandkids. Okay I have to go, Mama is getting anxious about her walk, talk with you later.
