If I have a class B motor home with a 10 year permit does the vehicle have to leave Mexico every 6 months when our Tourist Visa is up or can it stay in Mexico while we do the visa dance?
To add a wrinkle to this if I tow a utility trailer behind the van does it go on the 10 year permit or is it tracked some other way.
We have completed our house in Perula and are considering taking down a class B Van and using it as our primary vehicle in Mexico and just flying back and fourth to the States to keep our tourist visa current.
It can stay. A utility trailer will go on the permit, but they will change it to only 180 validity, even though it is still an RV permit with no deposit required.
