2017 Roadtrek Mercedes Ecotrek system problem

We are in Denali and have had a total failure of our internal electrical systems. As far as I can understand (I was on the phone with Roadtrek support this morning) is that the problem may be with our battery disconnect. We can drive to Fairbanks or Anchorage as we are in need of a repair shop that can handle electrical issues. Any advice on narrowing the problem or on a repair facility would be greatly appreciated. Denali is beautiful today...cloudy but beautiful. Thanks in advance.

Another reccomendation, not just for the OP, is S&P Auto in eagle river.
I don't often reccomend repair shops but I got excellent fair competent service from those guys. Idk if they'd work on a motorhome but......

Excellent recommendations from PA driver. If you find you want an RV shop, Alaska Performance RV on the corner of Arctic and Raspberry in Anchorage should be able to help you.

Anchorage recommendations:

- Big O's Automotive (near Mountain View)
- Professional Automotive (mid-Town)

Neither are "RV Shops" both are quite competent repair places.

....if you end up coming to Anchorage

How handy are you? Do you have a digital multimeter with you (and are familiar with using it)? Is it just all 12 volt systems, or is it 110V, too? Your Ecotrek has a large lithium battery bank, right? If you have a meter, are you getting 12V output from the batteries? If batteries have 12v output, but no power to any components, then master switch may be the issue, not letting power to your converter, which is the fuse panel for all systems. Our previous Roadtrek had a relay that was operated by the switch, the little push button simply activated the relay. not sure how the new Ecotrek is set up... You could test and see if you have 12v power coming into the converter. It may be something simple like a blown fuse or loose cable to the converter. I imagine you can find someone who could do some basic troubleshooting without having to drive all the way back to Fairbanks or Anchorage... Wouldn't even need to be an RV shop. Ask at the campground - bet they will know someone who could help diagnose the issue. Good luck - keep us informed! ST
