Restricting my right to travel any where in Canada any time I like is illegal. Only the Federal Government has the power to do that and only under the most severe conditions which I do not see Covid as a qualifier. I welcome the Charter Challenge.
You want to lock the country down, get the Fed's to do it legally.
Iโm not sure what you do / did for a living, but itโs not a lawyer Iโm sure. Under the Emergency Measures legislation they can, and have, restricted travel.
In a state of emergency they can restrict travel, arrest those that defy those orders, in a situation like a forest fire they can conscript people to fight that fire.
No Charter challenge is required, itโs settled law.

no provincial boarder has been closed, there may have been a few check spots asking you to think about if your travel is really necessary, but they cant legally stop a Canadian from going say from BC to Alberta or the other way. if I decide it is necessary for me to visit my parents in the next province then it is.

Yhea no provincial closure at all, may long in sicamous was nothing but alberta plates, and the BC companies trying to survive there had no problem with that at all.
Still crazy we can all ram into a grocery store or costco yet so many campgrounds and parks still closed, freaking stupid. Especially if you have your own rv with own shower and toilet.
