CT to RI is fine, albiet possibly slow going/traffic. I'd be more curious/concerned on your projected route getting TO Hammonassett Beach SP... Hope you're not planning on entering CT via I-95 over the George Washington Bridge in New York...! NOW we can chat about traffic and bad roads! ST
